• Plant a tree, bush, or flower in their memory
• Create a scrapbook or photo album
• Hold a memorial service with family and friends
• Donate to or get involved with a local humane society
• Mementos: keep a lock of fur (some people save some in an ornament or pendant), make a paw or nose print, keep some special things (like a collar, ID tags or a special toy), create a shadow box or memorial garden.
